An Indian Company based in Gurugram is looking for candidates for a Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) , which is a high-velocity role. In the NCR market, where competition for tech and corporate talent is fierce, this role requires a "Sales-minded" recruiter who can build a powerful employer brand while maintaining lean hiring costs.
Job Description:
The Head of TA will be the primary architect of the company’s growth engine. Reporting to the CHRO and you will move beyond tactical hiring to build a sustainable talent pipeline that supports rapid business expansion.
Lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition for a large Aviation & Hospitality Training organisation operating multiple centres
Drive bulk and lateral hiring for Sales Executives, Admission Counsellors, Centre Support Teams & In-house Trainers
Recruit trainers responsible for student grooming, personality development, communication skills, customer service & employability readiness
Support hiring aligned to post-training placement preparedness (not airline crew recruitment)
Build talent pipelines through job portals, referrals, internal databases, walk-ins, centre hiring drives & vendors
Partner with Centre Heads, Regional Heads & Business Leaders to meet batch-wise hiring plans
Manage recruitment MIS, trackers, dashboards & closure reports
Lead and mentor a team of 1015 recruiters delivering high-volume monthly hiring
Ensure hiring quality, process discipline, documentation & candidate experience
Core Responsibility:
Strategic Sourcing: Design multi-channel sourcing strategies (Social Media, Employee Referrals, IIM/IIT Campus Programs, and Headhunting).
Employer Branding: Position the company as an "Employer of Choice" in the Gurugram/NCR hub through LinkedIn campaigns and industry networking.
Executive Hiring: Personally lead the "Search" for C-suite and VP-level roles, ensuring high-quality leadership fit.
TA Tech Stack: Implement and optimise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Lever, Greenhouse, or Darwinbox to automate the "Reach-to-Offer" cycle.
Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a consultant to Department Heads to define "Ideal Candidate Profiles" and manage headcount budgets.
Diversity & Inclusion (DEI): Drive specific initiatives to increase gender and background diversity across all levels.
Job Specification:
Location: Gurugram (Cyber City)
Experience: 15–18+ years in recruitment, with at least 5 years leading the TA function for a large Indian corporate or high-growth startup.
Team Size: Managing a team of 10–30 recruiters (including campus, lateral, and niche tech hiring).
Salary Range: ₹40 Lakhs to ₹45 Lakhs (Fixed) + Performance-linked "Hiring Bonuses."
Perks: Often includes ESOPs (if a startup/scale-up) and premium health benefits.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA/PGDM in HR from a premier institute (XLRI, TISS, MDI Gurgaon, IIMs).
Certification: Specialized certifications in Competency Mapping or Behavioral Event Interviewing (BEI).
Industry Background: Prior experience in the Aviation & Hospitality sectors is highly valued in the NCR region.
Essential Skills:
Data-Driven Recruiting: Ability to use "Funnel Analytics" to identify bottlenecks (e.g., high drop-out rates at the technical round).
Negotiation Power: High-level negotiation skills to close "niche" roles in a candidate-driven market.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage the expectations of aggressive Indian "Promoters" or Founders.
Vendor Management: Managing relationships with premium executive search firms and recruitment RPOs.
Adaptability: Capability to pivot hiring strategies overnight based on changing business priorities.
